Oh, where do you go next with your marketing?
There are so many ideas out there, and so many things to try. It's so hard to narrow it down, and be consistent at the same time. Here's a sure fire way to keep your marketing and your marketing budget - in line.
1. Research the competition. See what is working, and not working for them.
2. Ask questions. Ask your neighbors, your friends, and your customers why they choose to do business with the people they do.
3. Go global. Research other areas of the country to see what they are doing in California, New York and all over. Hmmm, new ideas here?
4. Make a list. On this list: the top three sellers in your business, and the top three things you want to promote. Also list things you have tried in the past - and how successful they were. Finish out the list with your top competitor, and what they are doing to market themselves.
5. Make a plan - and budget it all out.
6. Stick to it! The plan, the budget...make it count! You may not see immediate results, but patience is key.
